GHC Starts a Food Waste Production Program in Their School

In February Gillingham Charter started a Food Waste Reduction Program in their school. Youth Summit students placed a bucket which was designated for unwanted food, as well as paper napkins in classrooms. They would then take whatever was stored in the bucket and place it in a composter to then be turned into nutrient-rich soil for the environment.

Thank you to everyone associated with this project at Gillingham for taking the next step for helping our environment!
